Let’s start... A bit about myself

​My name is Milica Markovic, I’m from a small and beautiful town in Serbia, named Kragujevac. I am an ICT (information and communications technology) student at the Department of Organizational Sciences, University in Belgrade. I’ve been a fashion model from the time I knew myself. 

​I’ve always been interested in fashion, the latest trends and styles, beauty, and helping other young girls and women find their own sense of style; this was one of the main reasons why I became a model. My path in modeling started from a really young age. It started with modeling classes, which my parents enrolled me in when I was just 6 years old, then I started working with local brands in Kragujevac, until I grew old enough to begin doing more important shows. 

At 15 years old, my first main jobs was to work with Fashion Week in Belgrade; later on, I started working for domestic and foreign designers, traveling and working abroad. I’ve passed through so many different countries, fashion shows, and worked with so many different people. Everywhere has been different and I’ve learned so much. It has all been very interesting.

Even today, with seven years of working experience, when I stand in front of the lens or walk around the catwalk, I feel like the whole world is mine. It's this that keeps me motivated to keep doing what I love to do.
